Trainings Officer: Dieter Decraene
Dieter joined KULMUN back in 2014, up for a challenge and uncertain what to expect. Now, many years later, KULMUN has given him much more than he would have ever expected. After having been a member for two years, he was in charge of the overall preparation of the KULMUN conference last year. For the next months, he will dedicate his precious spare time to the organisation of the weekly KULMUN trainings.
As a student of international and European criminal law, he has always been interested in diplomacy and international relations. His ambition is to end up working for an international organization or a big law firm (if anyone knows any internship spots, always appreciated!). The one thing Dieter enjoys the most about MUN’s, is the big variety of people and the genuinely interesting conversations with people from pretty much all around the globe. Under the cliché motto ‘a smooth sea never made a skillful sailor”, Dieter is ready for another year full of challenging trainings, a wonderful conference and some of the best social events.
