Vice Conference Manager: Lennert Houbrechts
Ever since middle school, Lennert has been interested in international relations, hence his decision to study political sciences and master in Comparative and International politics. Nonetheless, it was already his fourth year of study in Leuven when he decided to join KULMUN, and it has been a wild ride of friendship, fun and satisfying work ever since. Besides KULMUN, he has been active in his local youth movement KAJ as a monitor for over five years.
Studying in Leuven gave Lennert a lot more than new friends, a fairly decent social life and a good study, as it also brought him to the beautiful city of Galway, Ireland during his Erasmus semester in his third Bachelor year. After a period of constantly being in international and multicultural company, a void was left which KULMUN filled in perfectly. Nonetheless, he will spend the first semester of the academic year 2018-2019 on an extended master studying Small-State Diplomacy in Iceland. Although combining this with KULMUN might be challenging, Lennert is looking more than forward to take on the challenge and be an active and productive board member.
