KULMUN Membership applications
Current status: Applications are closed. Thank you very much for the interest! We will contact applicants very soon to settle an interview date.
Check out the presentation of our Info Session (4 October) at the end of this page for further information.
The good functioning of KULMUN depends on its motivated members who are willing to be active in the association and its related activities. Therefore we are always looking forward at potential new members joining the Association. However due to a restricted amount of members we ask interested persons to participate in an application procedure.
For those willing to get more info about KULMUN activities and membership before sending in their application we organized an info session that took place on Wednesday October 4th, 20.00h, PSI 91.93 (Aula Michotte), Tiensestraat 102. The presentation that we gave there can be found at the end of this page.
The application procedure itself consists of the two following tasks:
- Providing a motivation letter + brief discussion on an international topic (max. 1,5 A4) and CV (with ID picture) before the assigned deadline.
- In the letter (English) we would like to get to know more about you, why you wish to join KULMUN and why we should pick you.
- The international topic can be about anything (Myanmar, Ebola, Catalonia, …). You present the framework and your own opinion about it.
- Participating in a short meeting/interview with some current KULMUN members during the weekend of 13-15 October.
After that all applicants will be contacted as soon as possible in order to invite them to the first activity.
If you have questions concerning KULMUN membership and/or the application procedure, we invite you to send those to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: Only students which are enrolled at an institution attached to the KU Leuven Association are eligible for KULMUN membership.
